holiday fun with friends

In the holidays I went ice skating with my friend from room 11 Charlotte.

When we arrived to the rink it was packed. But we were eager to get on the ice and bought our skates. Mum bought Charlotte and I some slide passes (there was a tubing slide which is made out of ice and you grab a tube thing and slide down it). 

The ice wasn't very slippery and made it very hard to skate but half way through our skating time they called us off the ice and drove this huge machine onto the ice which cleared off ice that was scraped off by the blades on the ice skates this made the ice slippery and easier to skate on.
The guys who worked there showed off while he was meant to be helping by doing all these cool tricks which looked amazing!!!!!
