egyptian art!!! hieroglyphics

OMG we did art and this is my favourite one so far except the dye went all weird and kinda ruined it

We did this piece quite a while ago but we had to chose a piece to post on our blog.
I just chose a whole lot of random symbols and some I copied off a book.

This picture is of a mummy being prepared for the opening of the mouth ceremony.

hieroglyphics are actually really hard to do...

EGYPT BLAH

I actually really liked learning about Egypt. At first I thought it would be terrible, but i was surprised at how much I enjoyed it :D

I chose to focus on the Afterlife, and i really liked that topic.
I learnt about what you but in the coffins,
the journey there,
I also learnt about other things by just catching on from others topic,
like, Pyramids, Pharaohs, Mummification, The Sphinx, Gods, Houses+ lots more.

 

Ancient Egypt was said to be founded 3000 years ago! :O Wow that's a long time ago!              

 Did you know that when a new Pharaoh was crowned the Egypt calender was set back to 0 so its impossible to refer to dates!

 

In simpler words

Ancient Egypt was fun!! :D

Every Thursday this term rm12 and other classes have been having Gymnastics classes at Nairnville.

Every time we have the air tumble track out (which is my favourite!!!),

most the time we have climbing frames,

the rings, only once we had the big trampoline out,

and then we have the teachers station.

My favourite parts were when,
we did bridges on the air tumble track,
handstands on the wall,
and also when the big trampoline was out.
I also liked when we did the floor routine last week on the air track.

What I improved on was
1. my strength
2. my confidence
and 3. my handstands
and also stretching myself out properly

i made a stupid mistake

WHAT I'VE LEARNT

DO NOT leave your science fair to the last minute like I have,
Especially when you planting, like me,

So for my science fair project im doing,
Does music effect on plant growth,
And I only just planted my plants two days ago !!!
So it probably won't end up as a very good experiment after all.

I learnt it by relising, only 2 days ago, when I finally started
that I should have started way earlier
because I said to dad,
"Dad, my science fair is due in 3 weeks so can you help me ?!"
He totally laughed at me.
I think the way that I will remember to start early is by the,
notices we get or
maybe I just might magically remeber!
I don't know what helps me remeber things
I have a terrible memory! But it maybe might just magically happen!! haha

All I know for next time is that, next time I need to get my science fair started ASAP
Especially if i'm going to plant again.
I hope no one else has done this stupid thing as well
Because I regret it already,
I probably won't get anywhere with it....

Oh well
At least I know for next time :'(
