HEy HEY this is my 50th blog post!! Wow that's a lot of blog post!

So today we have to write about an  artist we like. The artist I have chosen I know very well and goes by the name of Tyler Florance. He is 13 years old and goes to St Benedicts school. Another one of his hobbies (apart from art) is swimming. The pictures shown here are only few of his masterpieces. And these are also (my opinion) probably not his best compared to what I have seen. I like his pieces of artwork because he puts lots of effort and detail into everything he does.

If I had to choose another artsit I would do Edith Collier. She is my Grandfathers Auntie and she painted in New Zealand. She was born in March 28, 1885 in Whanganui and died December 12, 1964 also in Whanganui. I like her pieces of artwork because they represent New Zealand and the way she has painted it it looks kind of swirly and it makes me feel relaxed.

SPORTSFEST before + after

BEFORE THE DAY

For sports fest I am playing Netball with my whole netball team minus Siena plus Charlotte. I'm looking forward to seeing how Charlotte gets on with our team and how she plays because we have been supposed to be doing practices but SOME PEOPLE decide they don't want to do them and don't want to waste their morning tea and whenever we do practice the boys and lots of other people want to join in. Also I'm nervous because 1: we have to switch around positions and I'm only ever good at defense and 2: we don't have an umpire organised for our team yet and Mum and I are freaking out !!!

AFTER THE DAY

I think it could have been better if we had our whole team (Catherine+ Siena) but yeah. We lost 4 games and won 1 but it was good to here that the dodgeball team had a great day- winning 4 out of 5 games! I think it would have been better if Catherine and Charlotte wasn't sick ! and if we communicated as a team and adapted to the teams ability's.
If I did it next year I would bring a bigger drink bottle and make the water cold.

The new flag is bad

I think it's a bad idea to change the flag even though it looks exactly like australias flag but I think we should just keep it as it is because the anzacs fought at world war 1 and 2 under that flag and it will change everything. But if we did have to change it, these are my personal favourites. I like them because they symbloize New Zealand and Maori culture well. The also have the New Zealand National colours like black red and blue.

I was the first person out of the whole intermediate to do a blog post of the week haha yay

art activities lately

The last art activity we did as a class

 was those ancient Aztec masks.

I enjoyed doing them but I didn't at

the same time because it was really

messy and time consuming and I don't

like collaging.

I would like to improve my sketching.

Our class has heaps of good ideas for the

art exhibit but some of them are so good

that they might be too over the top and won't

 be able to achieve.

hmmm if I could invite one real life person and a fictional character for dinner I would invite I would defiantly invite Dylan O' Brien like duh of course and for a fictional character and Eeyore the Donkey from Winnie the pooh.
